Twenty-two members with family and friends gathered at Rusack Winery Sunday, September 14th around glass top tables with comfortable matching plastic chairs in a delightful setting to enjoy socializing. The sommelier came to each table describing the six wines offered while we were enjoying home made goodies supplied by scholarship committee members. Rusack winery graciously provided the venue and tasting at no cost and donated six bottles of their better wines to be auctioned BY NO LESS THAN our own Al Walker who successfully performed his usual outstanding role as auctioneer netting our scholarship fund $280. The weather was ideal, warm with a little breeze and the large trees provided ample shade.
