November 8, 2011
Close to 40 members and guests gathered at Fiddlehead Cellars in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto, Nov. 8th, to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the American Association of University Women. While guests sampled wine and appetizers, Kathy Joseph, proprietor of Fiddlehead, gave us a brief update on the harvest, and an overview of the countless hours of work spent to make such high quality wine. The program included some historical highlights of the organization‟s 130 years along with recollections from long time members of ways the Lompoc-Vandenberg Branch has contributed to the mission since its charter in 1964.
